Description
This position will provide university recruitment support services including preparing requisitions, coordinating interview days with multiple participants and travel arrangements, processing candidate correspondence, event coordination, documenting candidate activity, coordinating new hire activities with candidates, and facilitating required background checks. This team will be on the leading edge of creating an organization focused on developing and executing efficient processes, while providing a world class client and candidate experience.
Accountabilities:
These duties are performed on a seasonal basis. Each duty will occur during a specific timeframe for a high volume applicant pool.
August – April:
•Prepare/Draft requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (Taleo)
•Coordinate large scale interview dates with interview teams and candidates
•Coordinate travel arrangements for candidates
•Process timely correspondence to candidates
•Collect and track compliance of interview appraisals
•Ensure data integrity by tracking and documenting candidate activities in the Applicant Tracking System (Taleo);
•Draft and send offer letters
December – May:
•Facilitate required pre-employment processes (such as background checks, medical screens, drug screens, reference checks, etc)
•Communicate new hire information to appropriate parties to initiate onboarding process
•Support clients’ additional hiring needs through completing and coordinating appropriate paperwork
May- August:
•Assist in the event coordination for Intern Forum and Recruiter Forum (such as travel arrangements, hotel/conference room scheduling, daily transportation, and catering, etc.)
•Candidate file maintenance, retention and destruction in accordance with Cargill policy, Policy, process & procedure management
•Provide input to drafting/updating employment policy and procedural manuals
•May participate or provide assistance in Talent Recruiting projects or initiatives
•Administration of internal systems and/or creation of processes to ensure compliance with policy, labor laws and legal requirements for a specific region/country/state
•Maintain accountability measures and processes to ensure compliance of policies and procedures
•Perform basic work steps to assist in audits/reviews and ensure compliance
Relationship Management
•Utilize basic recruitment subject matter knowledge to provide support to HR/business supervisors and individuals on HR Services/Operations issues/activities
•Assist in managing candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities and ensure a strong positive client and candidate experience
•Provide basic and straightforward training and direction related to the Talent Recruiting process for HR professionals in the business
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
•High school diploma
•Recent graduate or student of Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business administration and/or Languages.
•Professional language proficiency in English, both written and verbal
•Solid organizational and prioritization skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
•Demonstrated abilities to pay attention to detail and multi-task •Flexibility/adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment, where priorities and timelines often shift
•Strong team player focus on assisting others as needed
•Ability to work overtime hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
•Obtained an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
•Previous recruiting coordination experience
•Applicant tracking system experience (Taleo)
•Knowledge of country specific employment laws
