Perform overall functions related to APS (Allocation Processing System) project (Common processing engine to replace multiple existing systems and manual applications for actual and plans/forecasts of Intra-company transactions). This includes hand-on experience of different phases of project – business requirement gathering, designing, testing, implementation & maintenance. Create Projects documents, as well as perform test planning, test script creation and execution. Other expectations, which are also job requirements, include being a team player and problem solver. Solid customer service and communication skills are also required in order to interact with customers and multiple levels of management. Other requirements include proficiency in Excel with some knowledge of additional Microsoft Office Suite applications, as well as an understanding of basic accounting principles. Key Responsibilities:Understand all G/L functionality and dataflow for the G/L processManage the set-up in the system for the Allocation of Intercompany Charge process across sites Participate in strategy session with Global Process Owner and Global Process Lead and execution at process levelFinalizing the overall set-up and planning schedule and agreement with FP&A and Controllers groupSME contribution / Lead Global projects and align changes required in APS for various initiativesCreate and maintain Set ups for cost allocationWork with business for proper allocation of charges using scientific drivers and Allocable BaseResolve queries raised by business and assist in charge allocationContinually update departmental process and procedures, investigations for the field and self-assessment testingCoach and guide staff on updating departmental process and procedures, investigations for the field and self-assessment testingAnalyzing and providing specifications to Support for G/L processing enhancementsApprove and post individual entries on the ledgers
