American multinational company is looking for a Regional Category Manager based in Costa Rica. The candidate will be responsible of one of its major vendors in the Region.

Our client is "Best Great Place to Work" in Central America.

The main responsibilities are to:

• Analyze regional data and consumer trends
• Design planograms, manage space planning and creating innovation forecasting
• Improve the speed of inventory turnover and profitability within the categories
• Maintain a productive relationship with the vendor and create an engaging relationship
• Contributes to the profitability by increasing the sales volume of products that are sold within each category
• Provide and develop an effective merchandising strategy
• Report KPI's internally and to the vendor
• Increase the promotional activity

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or Marketing is required. Proficient in MS Office (Advance Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with SAP and Planogram Software is a most.

- Knowledge of the products, consumer needs, buying practices, sales goals and retail environment. Strong knowledge and experience with merchandising and vendor relationships.

- Outstanding Analytic and People skills to establish rapport with people from diverse backgrounds at all levels and excellent Communication skills. Advance level of English.
