Regional Tax Analyst

Main responsibilities:

- Establish, maintain, coordinate and manage corporate wide tax policies, procedures and strategies to assure compliance with regulatory authorities
- Perform detailed research and analysis on complex issues, strong understanding of applying tax rules through systems,
- Manage tax audits, negotiate settlements and mitigate interest or penalties
- Effectively administer Tax policies
- Provide technical expertise and support to the organization
- Influence business partners in the design of tax cost effective programs.
- Manage external tax service providers, and deal with local tax authorities in Latin America
- Review corporate tax returns and statutory filings

Qualifications:

- Licentiate Degree in Accounting, Law or Business Administration with at least 2 years of experience in tax matters. Professional experience should include extensive expertise on tax consultation and tax planning aspects
- Strong knowledge in tax legislation and regulations is required, especially in international taxation and/or Latin America legislation.
- Proficient in English.
