Analista Técnico

POSITION: Implementations Technical Analyst
LOCATION: San Pedro, San Jose- Costa Rica
As a Technical Analyst, you will work with active project implementations and assist clients, already using our software platform, who desire back office integration to their existing systems. You will be responsible for assisting with business and Technical requirements gathering, writing Technical specifications, programming (low level), testing assistance, and rolling out customers'' Technical interfaces. You will assist with project requirements with the Business Development. You will also provide testing and on-going customer Technical support, where needed. Requirements: The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• A Bachelor''s degree (or Technical degree) or equal field experience.
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Team player (essential)
• Familiarity and understanding of relational databases, writing, and debugging complex SQL statements (SQL 2008 Server, SQL 2005 and Windows Server 2003, Windows XP)
• Familiarity and working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML and PHP
• Familiarity or knowledge of Internet Communication Protocols
• Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers.
• Experience handling projects in TOMCAT.
• Banking and logistics experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio)
• Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium.
• Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience with hardware and software issues.

Education and/or Experience :
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills :
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. English 90%
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Database software; Internet software and Word Processing software.
