We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager with expertise in managing cross-functional technology initiatives. You will be responsible for driving complex projects across multiple teams, ensuring successful delivery of enterprise-scale solutions for Amazonians.

The focus for this role is managing a small program or set of complex technical projects across teams. These initiatives leverage various AWS technologies and enterprise solutions, working closely with engineering teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Technical Program Managers: TPMs at Amazon manage the development and delivery of complex technology solutions. They work across teams to drive technical initiatives, improve processes, and ensure successful project delivery. TPMs are expected to have strong technical judgment and program management skills to effectively lead cross-functional efforts.

Enterprise Engineering: Enterprise Engineering owns the key products, services, and tools Amazonians use to securely and reliably access corporate resources, communicate with one another, and collaborate with customers.

This role requires strong partnership with engineering teams and stakeholders across multiple organizations. You'll need to effectively manage cross-team dependencies, drive alignment, and ensure successful delivery of program objectives.

Key job responsibilities
Lead multiple, complex cross-functional initiatives simultaneously from initiation through delivery. Involves anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management and communicating status broadly across all levels
* Make tradeoffs while balancing the business needs with technical constraints
* Work closely with product and engineering teams to define near term and long term product roadmap
* Create mechanisms to drive timely, accurate, and comprehensive project execution. Create clarity, eliminate obstacles and drive issue resolution to ensure deliverables & timelines are met. Drive continuous improvement efforts to ensure delivery mechanisms get better over time
* Serve as a trusted advisor to product and engineering team

About the team
The Amazon Enterprise Engineering organization supports the technologies Amazonians use to collaborate and build solutions to delight customers every day. We support e-mail, video and audio communications and streaming, content management, endpoint clients and productivity applications used across the AWS and e-Commerce organizations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
