Introducción

We are looking for people with experience designing and building enterprise data strategies for implementation, integration and usage of data. The successful candidate will have experience interacting with business and IT stakeholders to advance an organization's thinking of data governance concepts, ability to explain the benefits of data governance policies and procedures within the context of the business needs.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Su función y responsabilidades

A Data Governance Analyst will work with data teams in the formation and execution of data governance framework, policy, and standards. This role will help develop and implement data governance principles within various business areas of our client organizations in order to establish a unified, holistic approach to data governance and, ultimately, drive a high level of data quality throughout the organization. Keys to success in this role are the ability to build strong partnerships with business and IT stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have professional data governance experience, strong business acumen, and will be able to leverage these competencies to provide stewardship and oversight of critical data assets.

Experiencia profesional y técnica requerida

- Relevant experience in data governance or management (operational model,

master data, metadata, data quality, data modeling, and data standards).

- Experience leading the development of enterprise data governance.

- Experience developing recommendations to improve accountability, quality, and compliance with data policies and standards, as well as quality improvement initiatives.

- Experience driving the design of solutions and execution of data governance initiatives spanning business lines, technology, and platforms to address enterprise data needs.

- Experience conducting data audits, identifying data collection issues, suggesting improvements, and implementing solutions.

- Experience defining and implementing data management frameworks that align with overall business and technology strategies.

- Experience with data governance and quality tools such as Atlan, data.world, Alation, Collibra, etc.

- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

- Ability to create critical collateral materials for client workshops and interactive client sessions.

- Strong problem-solving and incident resolution skills, with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

- Advanced English.
