Responsibilities
•Execute and support SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA audit engagements
•Perform walkthroughs, control testing, and evidence evaluation
•Assess the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls (ITGCs) and related IT processes
•Identify and document control gaps, risks, and remediation recommendations
•Prepare clear, accurate audit workpapers and reports
•Participate in client meetings, status calls, and audit discussions
•Communicate audit questions and findings clearly to both clients and internal teams
•Collaborate with senior auditors to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery

Experience LevelThis role is open to candidates at the following levels and remunerated at market Benchmarks

•Staff II – approximately 2 years of relevant experience
•Staff III – approximately 3 years of relevant experience

Required Experience & Skills
•Experience in IT audit, technology risk, or compliance-related roles
•Hands-on experience with SOC 2 audits, including control testing and documentation
•Strong working knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs)
•Experience participating in external and/or internal audits
•Understanding of IT risk and control frameworks
•Strong English communication skills — candidates must be able to clearly explain audit concepts, questions, and findings
•Ability to work independently in a remote, structured audit environment
•Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills
•Demonstrated job stability and commitment in previous roles

Technical Skills
•IT General Controls (ITGCs)
•Control testing and audit documentation
•Risk identification and remediation assessment
•Audit methodologies and evidence evaluation
•Familiarity with GRC or audit management tools

Preferred / Nice to Have (Not Required)The following are considered a bonus but are not mandatory:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Cyber Security, MIS, or a related field
•Professional certifications (active or in progress), such as:

•CISA
•CPA
•CISSP
•ISO 27001 Auditor / Lead Auditor
•PCI QSA
