Amazon Finance & Global Business Services (FGBS) plays a key role in the company's mission to be Earth's most customer-centric company. FGBS includes finance functions like Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Tax, as well as other functions like Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF), Investor Relations, and Benchmarking.

The FGBS Team is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join Accounts Payable Retail operation in Costa Rica. The successful candidate will perform AP troubleshooting activities for the operations in LATAM. Primary responsibilities will include payment inquires, mid to high complex vendor accounts reconciliation, audit fiscal documents and case monitoring while keeping the highest levels of controllership and Customer Obsession.
Key Responsibilities include:

- Reconcile, audit, and monitor vendor accounts with high complexity
- Case resolution according the KPIs to achieve the company goals
- High level understanding of MX market + tax treatments.
- Partnering with vendors to resolve account statement discrepancies.
- Work closely with finance operations teams in different locations for timely transaction processing
- Deliver training to vendors to clarify retail processes
- Engage with retail, tax or accounting for vendor inquires resolution.
- Support organizational/operational projects

The successful candidate will have a strong desire in strong analytical skills and root cause analysis in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and feel comfortable handling math data.

Basic Qualifications

- 1-3 years of experience in Shared Services or Accounts Payable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) or equivalent productivity software
- Excellent written communication skills
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications

- 1+ years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger experience
