Role Summary:
As a Regional Key Account Manager in Costa Rica, you will develop and support the partnership between Colgate-Palmolive and Walmart in Central America, helping to synchronize our category strategies and the account 's shopper strategies to increase demand and account support for our profitable growth. You will ensure we get our products into the store, off the shelf, and into the home of our consumers cost effectively and more efficiently than our competition.
Responsibilities:
- Propose, manage and achieve objectives (within regional Go-to-Market, Customer Development and Global Customer strategy framework) to grow competitively, profitably, by ensuring that customers and consumers obtain the best option to satisfy their needs within Retail environments
- Coordinate with countries’ DT Team Leaders and their teams in each country, to obtain a clear understanding of opportunities while balancing the regional and local landscape
-Develop and negotiate Omnichannel commercial plans (Promotional commercial process, innovation, customer marketing strategies, price increases) on targeted Retail Environment to “win at the shelf” and evaluate the financial performance. Also lead new products creation process and support negotiation and implementation with the customer
- Negotiate Join Value Creation Plan and process, cost analytics and other negotiations, track results and develop plans to close gaps and boost performance
- Create and maintain strong partnership with customers (regional and Local Buyers, country managers) providing information, tools, and category management process (scan data, etc.) to make fact based decisions based on Analysis
- Coordinate internal meetings to measure and adjust performance as needed, in order to build and execute action plans
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of sales experience managing the Walmart account with a regional scope
- Analytical and negotiation skills
- Google Suite proficiency
- Intermediate/Advanced English level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Experience with Retail Link and Tableau
