Our Solutions Architects team is seeking candidates located in San Jose, Costa Rica or San Juan, Puerto Rico to join our AWS team, focused on customers from Caribbean and Central America, with a variety of skills to help shape and deliver on our cloud strategy for our global customers and partners. As a solutions architect, you will be on the front line of helping customers succeed using AWS technologies, linking technology with measurable business value for organizations ranging from start-ups to large, enterprise customers. You will be a trusted customer advocate, helping our partners understand advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

San Francisco De Heredia, CRI

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 8+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, in technical and business settings (verbal and written).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
- AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant expertise
