DESCRIPTION
The Risk Operations, Success, & Engagement (ROSE) Business Intelligence team is looking for an experienced, self-driven, analytical, and strategic Business Intelligence Engineer. You should be passionate about working with huge datasets, passionate to work on analytics and be someone who loves to bring data together and work on innovative solutions to convert deep questions to self-serviceable, sustainable answers. You should have deep expertise in creation and management of datasets and the proven ability to translate the data into meaningful insights through collaboration with Data Engineers (DEs) and Business Analysts (BAs). In this role, you will have ownership of end-to-end development of business intelligence solutions and you'll play an integral role in strategic decision-making.

The right candidate will possess excellent business and communication skills, be able to work with business owners to develop and define key business questions and be able to collaborate with DEs and BAs to analyze data that will answer those questions. You should have a solid understanding of how to build efficient and scalable reporting solutions, dashboards and data models, and the desire to learn and implement new technologies and services to further the scalable, self-service model.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering)

- 3+ years of experience as a business intelligence engineer or related specialty (e.g., data engineer, data scientist) with a track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.

- 3+ years of experience with data visualization using Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight, or similar tools

- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

- Experience writing complex SQL queries and with performance tuning

- Experience working using agile methodologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions

- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python.

- Knowledge of best practices for development life cycle, including coding standards, architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence

- Customer service operations experience and knowledge background

- Experience with AI/ML Concepts
