DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Support Engineer to join our team and help drive the release, quality, and performance of the Amazon Seller mobile app. This mobile app serves over 1.4 million monthly active users across 23 countries and empowers sellers to manage their business on the go.

In this role, you will work with a cross-functional talented teams of software development engineers, quality engineer, technical program manager, software development managers, and product managers to ship high performance experiences in the mobile app. This role offers significant growth potential and the opportunity to work with industry leading mobile technologies while contributing to the backbone of our mobile app development ecosystem.

Key job responsibilities
* Partner with Software Development Engineers (SDEs) and business owners throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through design analysis
* Own the planning, development, and execution of test plans and test cases
* Execute comprehensive testing across all functional and UI areas of our products
* Develop and improve testing strategies and techniques
* Drive quality initiatives across multiple rendering frameworks and native implementations
* Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
* Champion quality practices throughout the development process
* Collaborate with our Surface team on rendering framework integration and Applications team on release management
* Validate builder tools ecosystem including debugging console, sample applications, and test automation framework

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- High school or equivalent diploma
- - 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience
- - Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- - Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- - Experience scripting in PowerShell or other scripting languages
- - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- - Experience with AWS, networks and operating systems
