DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Prime Video marketing team is looking for a talented and passionate Sr. Art Director to create world-class Sport campaigns for our growing slate of programming.

Working in close collaboration with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Project Managers, Campaign Managers, and Producers, you will help us build creative advertising campaigns and establish the unique look and feel of some of our biggest Sport properties, from key art to OOH, digital, social, partnerships and more.

Art Directors at Prime Video are makers who excel at visual communication; they are masters at all practical aspects of messaging an idea using images. A successful Sr. Art Director will be able to participate in brainstorms with Creative Directors, Marketing teams and other critical stakeholders and translate feedback into visuals to drive campaign ideation. In this role you will be designing as a hands-on artist creating comps, concept pitch decks and breakouts with Adobe creative suite applications as your main tool.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the visual development and design execution of marketing campaigns for Prime Video titles.
- Design key art and adapt it across 360 campaign formats including OOH, social, digital, and print.
- Translate stakeholder briefs into compelling creative concepts and pitch-ready decks.
- Collaborate with Creative Directors and project teams to brainstorm, develop, and refine visual solutions.
- Guide and mentor visual designers, providing clear feedback and quality control.
- Participate in campaign kick-offs, reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
- Ensure brand consistency, timely delivery, and creative excellence across all deliverables.
- Apply customer insights and platform knowledge to inform design decisions.
- Stay current on entertainment trends, pop culture, and design innovation.
- (As needed) Direct photo shoots and guide visual storytelling in production environments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience
- Knowledge of typography, design principles, trends and best practices across digital and print
- Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, Figma
- Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
- An online available portfolio heavily skewed towards Key Art Design

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in sports or entertainment industry
- Background in production workflows and trafficking systems
- Knowledge of broadcast/streaming design standards and specifications
- Familiarity with various file formats and delivery requirements across platforms
- Experience working with external vendors and creative agencies
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
- Experience with collaborative design tools (Figma)
- Understanding of marketing campaign execution across multiple channels
