In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Su función y responsabilidades

The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Identity and Access Management, working closely with industry-leading IAM tools and technologies. As an IAM Intern you will contribute to automation projects using PowerShell and Python, while also expanding your knowledge of cutting-edge IAM solutions such as Saviynt, CyberArk, SailPoint, and/or Microsoft EntraID.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and implementation of automation scripts for IAM processes using PowerShell and Python.
- Work collaboratively with the IAM team to understand business requirements and learn to translate them into technical solutions.
- Learn how to test and debug IAM systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Gain extensive knowledge of leading IAM platforms including Saviynt, CyberArk, SailPoint, and Microsoft EntraID.
- Document processes and procedures related to IAM system administration and maintenance.

Educación requerida

Diploma de secundaria / GED

Experiencia profesional y técnica requerida

- Active student of Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or any IT related career.
- Understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Understanding of networking concepts.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
- English fluency is required for this role.

Experiencia técnica y profesional preferida

- Graduated from a technical high school with technical degree on Networking, Programming, systems administration or any other technical career.
- Relevant IT certifications such as Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST), Cisco CCNA, CompTia A+ or Network+, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), AWS Cloud Practitioner or others are preferred but not required.
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management technologies, processes and frameworks such as OpenID, OAuth, SAML is preferred but not required.
- Understanding of scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
- Understanding of Cloud Technologies and providers such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or AWS.
