JOB SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Manager represents the entire range of company services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company. The Supply Chain Manager achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts by meeting assigned expectations for profitability, maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related Specializing in Logistics or Commerce, International Business or related
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years’ experience as Supply Chain Manager, Key account Manager or related in a large organizational and/or functional business unit.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher.
Fully Bilingual English/Spanish.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives.
Ability to manage ambiguity and consistently identify and execute tasks needed to meet goals at all levels.
Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.
Ability to identify and/or document existing and new processes as well as evaluate their effectiveness, develop improvements and/or recommend changes or alternatives.
Knowledge of the principles, practices and standards of freight services duties, logistics, commerce and sales.
Negotiate positively to obtain the maximum gross profit percentage goal while executing to customer requirement
Identify consistent capacity opportunities within our carrier base that overlap with consistent lane opportunities provided by our clients
Manage carrier relationships with existing carrier base to ensure optimum service levels while identifying and growing new relationships
Responsible for the growth of key accounts including the definition, communication, implementation of efficient, cost effective and reliable operational services
Develop solutions to resolve root cause problems with both internal and external processes and situations
Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
